- What are the costs involved?
The cost to buy an nxo franchise is £35,000 VAT; excluding working capital. - What do I get for my money?
A seven-year licence to operate with an option to extend (at no further cost) for a further seven years. Use of the nxo brand, website and intranet, plus existing proprietary systems. Designated territory (as pre-agreed and defined in the franchise agreement). Full induction training, and on-going professional mentoring and support - How would my territory be defined?
nxo provides defined areas which are local to the franchisee. Each area has on average between 5,000 and 10,000 businesses, subject to business profile and location. - Are others free to trade in my territory?
Yes, but only if they are following up on an existing contact or client. No other franchise can promote themselves in your territory, unless you have granted permission or access. - What additional costs are involved?
A management fee of 12.5% and an advertising levy, currently set at 2.5%, will be charged on all net turnover, both are subject to VAT. - What training & support is provided?
A comprehensive training and development programme, at the nxo head office and off-site (full details available on request).
There are currently franchise forums, held three times a year, which cover best practice and offer valuable networking opportunities with other franchisees. - How does nxo help me set up my business?
You will be provided with guidance with the formation and development of your business plan by a fully qualified accountant; this includes initial budget preparation, cash flow and the registration of your Limited Company and VAT registration. - Have any franchisees left nxo after signing?
Since our first pilot nxo has seen three franchisees leave the network. - What type of work, and what type of clients are existing franchisees involved with?
The nxo client base is a broad range of SMEs (Small to Medium Sized Enterprises) to blue chip companies. The work conducted for these varies from consultancy (which includes coaching and advising new businesses) to strategic and tactical work, i.e. concept design, web design & builds, PR, etc.
